From Unconscious To Spontaneous – Advaita Vedanta Philosophy
What Happens As You Awaken To Your True Self
When you discover the spiritual teachings, nearly all of your thinking, feeling, and experiencing is on automatic. You can call it a state of unconscious sleep; mere reacting on impulse with no deeper understanding of yourself, other than what you see and know.
But as you go deeper and become quiet, there is a greater awareness of your thinking, feeling, and experiencing.
But to your surprise you begin to discover that these processes are not to be deliberately controlled and manipulated; that they occur quite spontaneously and follow their own laws, of which you are simply the seeing of, the knowing of, the awareness of.
Therefore, a greater space is opened up within; a space of understanding and wisdom which allows these processes to become automatic once again, but this time in a whole new way.
The new automatic is more spontaneous rather than unconscious.
In fact, there is great awareness of the thinking, feeling, and experiencing, yet something within feels no need to direct, control, change, avoid, or manipulate these happenings.
They are allowed to be and unfold as they are with a greater and greater relinquishment of the sense of ownership and doership.
This letting go of ownership is what frees you and un-mixes you from the restlessness of mind. Your sense of self becomes subtler and many of your limitations, dissolved.
Do you wish to learn more about this shift? If so, watch today’s video in which I dive into this in great detail.
It is an honor to share something so beautiful with you and I certainly hope that these videos are continuing to serve your understanding and clarity 🙂
